For many football fans, Brittany Mahomes exists primarily as the wife of star Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, but she is also a a driven entrepreneur and a passionate athlete in her own right.
The former Texas Tech football player began dating his wife back in 2012 when the two attended Whitehouse High School in Whitehouse, Texas. They announced their engagement on Brittany Mahomes' 25th birthday after Patrick proposed to her in a VIP box at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, a day after the team received their Super Bowl 54 rings.
For Patrick Mahomes, however, their love story began even before high school.

“We kinda met in seventh, eighth grade,” Patrick Mahomes said on the Netflix series "Quarterback." “She was the grade above me, I was kind of the best friend, in the friend zone forever. I used to walk her to class and was trying to flirt. When I was a sophom*ore in high school, she was a junior. I actually got her a rose, I kind of had a crush on her. But, I was getting a rose as a joke for Valentine’s Day.”

A former accomplished soccer player who even went pro in Iceland, Brittany Mahomes since traded cleats for entrepreneurship, founding "Brittany Lynne Fitness" to empower women through personalized workout programs. Her passion for sports extends beyond fitness, evident in her co-founding the Kansas City Current, a team in the American professional top-divisionNational Women's Soccer League(NWSL), bringing professional women's soccer to the city.
Philanthropy is another feather in her cap, with the "15 and the Mahomies" foundation, run alongside Patrick, dedicated to improving children's lives. She also uses her significant social media platform to promote these causes, all while supporting her husband's career.

Brittany's soccer talents truly came to light at the University of Texas at Tyler, where she became a record-breaker for the women's soccer program. During her senior year in 2016, she set a single-season record with 18 goals.
Following her collegiate success, Brittany set her sights on playing at the professional level. In 2017, she signed with UMF Afturelding, a professional team in Iceland's second division. Despite only playing for a short season, Brittany made an impact on the field, scoring two goals in five appearances.

While Brittany's professional soccer career didn't continue in the long term, her love for sports and fitness never wavered. In 2019, she decided to channel her passion into a different direction, launching her online fitness platform, Brittany Lynne Fitness.
She became a certified personal trainer and began creating workout programs and sharing fitness tips with her growing audience, offering various workout programs, personalized training plans, and fitness merchandise, designed to empower people of all fitness levels.
