We love apples around here and visiting the apple orchard. Our favorite orchard is over an hour away. Yes, I realize that is a long drive, but this the same orchard I went to Addie was Iyla’s age. I love taking my kids to run up and down the rows of apple, climb trees, pick apples and just see the joy of them experiencing agriculture first hand!
Aunt Lou here.
Since we drive such a long way, and since it is so much fun picking our own apples. We have tons and tons of apples when we get home. Luckily, depending on which apple variety is your favorite, apples have a good, long shelf life! So we have plenty of time to make up all of Our Favorite Apple Recipes!

My favorite apple anything is my mom’s apple pie. Sadly, she is no longer with us and did not follow a written recipe, so that, too, is gone.
I watched the youtube video yesterday. It was a fun watch. When I went to subscribe, they wanted way too much personal information that I am not willing to have out there on the net. Therefore, I am unable to enter to win the Ninja. *she says while sticking out her lower lip and pouting*

Hi Sharon- Do you mean YouTube wanted too much info? My guess is they needed you to setup a free YouTube account to subscribe you. Generally if you have any google accounts they will work to get you signed up, but we totally understand if that isn’t your cup of tea. Don’t worry though, we regularly have giveaways for blog readers too. Stay tuned 😉
We love hearing from you, it totally makes our day! Please remember, our comment section is much like our dinner table... You don't have to like everything we serve up, but you do have to use your manners.
